Taryn Bird

Taryn Bird joined the Business Civic Leadership Center, a U.S. Chamber of Commerce affiliate, in January 2008 and is the Manager for BCLC’s Global Corporate Citizenship Program (GCC). She is responsible for developing BCLC's global corporate citizenship program of work, reports, events, and executing related projects. BCLC's GCC Program communicates the private sector's role in international development and provides members with connections and resources to further develop their global corporate social responsibility programs.

In 2010 Taryn was selected as a Untied Stated Delegate for the inaugural One Young World Conference.

Prior to joining BCLC, Taryn was on staff with the U.S. Chamber-affiliated Association of American Chambers of Commerce in Latin America.

She is also a member of Young Professionals in Foreign Policy and a member of the Employees Caring for our Community at the U.S. Chamber Commence and leads Volunteering Projects for staff in the DC Metropolitan Area.

Taryn has two bachelor degrees from Penn State University in economics and Spanish. She is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
